Eye to Eye is a three hour performance/ video/installation piece which involves a small video image projected onto a beam that covers the left eye of the artist. The stasis of the artist who does not move for the duration of the work, is contrasted by the video footage that shifts over a three minute duration. This footage shows the artists eye transform from its conventional form to being made up in drag and back again. The work investigates the metaphoric and real possibilities of using projection to reconfigure our experience of the body.
